Minister Angela Braan was raised in Landover, Maryland where she gave her life to Christ at the age of fourteen. Quickly thereafter, discovered that God had a call on her life. She joined the military in August of 1996 and served in the army for four years.
After her time in service, she pursued her passion in cosmetology where she has the opportunity to serve the women of the community and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2009 she reconnected with her husband and now Pastor, Barry D. Braan, Jr. and moved back to the Washington, D.C. area. Minister Braan joined her husband in ministry at St Stephen Baptist Church where she served in the choir, praise team, youth ministry, intercessory prayer ministry, and as an armor bearer to First lady Tonya Twyman. In 2010 she submitted to the call on her life and was licensed to preach the gospel by their Pastor
Bishop Lanier C. Twyman, sr. on January 11, 2015.
In July of 2015, she and her family moved to the Tri-cities area where she currently serves alongside her husband at Greater Life Church in Kingsport, TN.
In January of 2016, Minister Braan founded "Women Postured in Purpose". This ministry is geared towards encouraging women to posture their lives in a way that pleases God. Through teaching, mentoring, and intercessory prayer this ministry is changing the lives of women daily.
They share six children together four daughters Alliya, Cassia, Evessa, Daysia, and two sons, Zion and Jace.
